Content Creators Unite v1.0
The “Midway Content Creators Unite” event, hosted by Midway Colleges, took place on August 17, 2024, at the Center for Skills Advancement and Assessment (CSAA). This event was organized by the Midway Student Council with the help of School Organization and Student Volunteers, all institute aimed to bring together content creators from various platforms to share their experiences, showcase their talents, and foster a sense of community among participants.
The event kicked off with an inspiring opening ceremony where the organizers welcomed all participants and attendees. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and anticipation as everyone gathered to celebrate creativity and collaboration.
Throughout the day, several activities were held, covering a wide range of entertainment relevant to content creation. These games were led by experienced content creators and industry professionals who showed valuable participation and team work on improving content collaboration.
One of the most engaging parts of the event was the Campus Tour, participants had the opportunity to explore and learn from the history and present of Midway Colleges. The content creators enjoyed their adventure inside the campus by witnessing the advance simulators and systems that is available in Midway. It included their live vlogging, social interactions and collective brainstorming of ideas during the tour and made their interest be expressed with one another.
Networking Opportunities, the event provided ample opportunities for networking. Content creators from different niches and backgrounds connected, exchanged ideas, and formed potential collaborations. This networking aspect was highly appreciated by attendees, as it allowed them to build relationships and expand their professional networks.
Adding a friendly competition have been an edge to the event, several contests were organized. Participants competed in categories such as team-based competition until forwarding to the edge of the game categories such as cake making and hard candy scratching resulting to Ms. Jem Misuari’s triumph and were announced during the closing ceremony. Also, were awarded prizes and recognition for their outstanding work.
Well-known content creators and their presence added star power to the event and inspired many aspiring creators in attendance, boosting their fans during the live broadcast of Midway Colleges FB Page. In the last part of the event, the organizers issued a certificate of participation to the esteemed guest and provided them an umbrella sponsored by Vortex and bags from Midway Colleges Inc.
The “Midway Content Creators Unite” event was a resounding success. It not only provided a platform for content creators to showcase their talents but also fostered a sense of community and collaboration. The event highlighted the importance of creativity, innovation, and mutual support in the content creation industry. Participants left the event feeling motivated, inspired, and equipped with new skills and connections to further content creation journeys.
