EMBARKATION CEREMONY 2024
After a rigorous month, the candidates for CCI finally arrived at their most awaited day—the embarkation ceremony. The event began with an impressive arrival honors, where cadets and distinguished guests gathered to pay tribute to this momentous occasion. As the colors were presented, a palpable sense of pride and anticipation filled the air. The processional followed, with each participant walking in step, embodying the unity and commitment that defines our institution.
Once seated, the ceremony transitioned into a reflective invocation led by D/Cdt Briones. With a heartfelt appeal for guidance and strength, he set a respectful tone, reminding everyone of the values that underpin their journey of leadership and service. C/E Patricio V. Roque then delivered the welcome message, acknowledging the hard work and dedication of the candidates. He emphasized the significance of this day as not only a celebration of achievement but also a pivotal moment in their lifelong journey
The atmosphere shifted to one of inspiration as the Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Sabino Czar C. Manglicmot II, delivered his motivational message. He reminded attendees of the resilience and determination needed to navigate the path of leadership, inspiring all to reach their ultimate potential. In a touching gesture, he encouraged the CCI Completers to express gratitude to those who supported them throughout their journey.
Following this, Dr. Richard L. Oandasan introduced the esteemed guest speaker, Capt. Fidel D. Ramos. Capt. Ramos addressed the audience with a compelling message, highlighting the importance of service, integrity, and courage in shaping the future of maritime endeavors. His insights into leadership responsibilities served to challenge and motivate the candidates, reinforcing the weight of their forthcoming roles in society.
The ceremony then moved to the formal presentation of candidates for completion rites. Each candidate stood proudly as their respective programs were called, reflecting on their journeys. This was followed by the confirmation of completers, marking a significant milestone in their training. With great pride, certificates of completion were presented to each completer, symbolizing their hard work and commitment. As they received their certificates, cheers erupted from family, friends, and faculty, creating an atmosphere of celebration.
In a heartfelt response, D/Cdt Sotillo spoke on behalf of the CCI completers class of 2024, expressing gratitude for the support of mentors and peers. He affirmed their commitment to carry forward the values instilled in them, ready to face the future with confidence.
