Cruise Ship Hotel and Restaurant

After completion of the program, the students have the opportunity to work in landbased and sea-based.

A person who has achieved this program is competent to be employed as a junior cleaner, assistant cleaner, assistant public area, public cleaner attendant room/cabin attendant room maid, laundry attendant, housekeeping attendant and butler, wait for staff or food and beverage services attendant, busboy service, room attendant service.

TECHNICAL VOCATIONAL LIVELIHOOD TRACK (TVL)

Technical Vocational Livelihood Maritime Specialization - TVLMS

Maritime Specialization (M S)- TVLMS graduates will be equipped with the competencies needed to be eligible for work as ratings forming parts of navigational and engine watch. They can also put up their own business depending on the electives and special trainings they will take.

Food and Beverage Services

Food and Beverage Services NC II- The FOOD AND BEVERAGE SERVICES (FBS) NC II Qualification consists of competencies that a person must achieve to provide food and beverage service to guests in various food and beverage service facilities. FBS learners will learn how to prepare the dining room/restaurant area for service, welcome guests and take food and beverage orders, promote food and beverage products, provide food and beverage services to guests, provide room service and receive and handle guest concerns (TESDA Training Regulations 2015)

Bread and Pastry Production

Bread and Pastry Production NC II– It consists of competencies in cleaning equipment , tools and utensils and preparing, portioning and plating pastries, breads and other dessert items to guests in hotels, motels, restaurants, clubs, canteens, resorts and luxury lines/cruises and other related operations. Subjects include preparation and production of bakery and pastry products, gateaux, tortes, cakes and desserts (TESDA Training Regulations 2015).

Housekeeping NC II

Housekeeping NC II – Qualification consists of competencies that a person must achieve to prepare guest rooms, clean public areas and equipment, provide housekeeping services, provide valet services, handle intoxicated guest, and laundry linen and guest clothes to a range of accommodation services (TESDA Training Regulations 2015).

Bartending NC II

Bartending NC II – It consists of competencies that a person must achieve to operate a bar, prepare and mix cocktails and non-alcoholic concoctions and provide basic wine service to guests in all food and beverage service providers except for “Specialty Coffee Shops” (TESDA TRAINING Regulations 2015).

Shielded Metal Arc Welding (S M A W) NC II

Shielded Metal Arc Welding (S M A W) NC II – It consists of competencies that a person must achieve to weld carbon steel plate and pipe components as specified by layout, blueprints, diagrams, work order, welding procedure or oral instructions using shielded metal arc welding equipment (TESDA Training Regulations 2015).
