The Bachelor of Science in Maritime Transportation (BSMT) is a higher education program that covers the study of navigation, cargo handling and stowage, and controlling the safe operation of the ship.

Students who graduate from this program will be equipped with competences to perform functions in navigating, stowing, cargo handling, and controlling safe ship operations. Knowledge gained in these areas will help them solve problems in the actual workplace.

BSMT is structured to equip students with knowledge that will translate in real-life situations. On top of that, they will be taught to conduct research using appropriate methodologies. This combined theoretical and practical approach will produce well-rounded professionals.

The Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering (BSMarE) is a higher education program covering the study about marine engineering such as propulsion system and its auxiliaries, maintenance and repair, controlling a ship’s operation, caring for the persons on board at an operational level, and electrical, electronic, and control engineering.

The aim of this program is to produce competent Officers in Charge of an Engineering Watch in a manned engine room on seagoing ships.

This program will equip students with competence and sufficient knowledge to perform operations in the actual workplace. Students will have problem solving skills and be knowledgeable in the global and social contexts of the profession.

The Bachelor of Science in Customs Administration (BSCA) is a higher education degree program that deals with preparing documents and/or electronic submissions, calculating taxes, communicating duties, and facilitating between importer, exporter, and government authorities. Customs brokerage is a profession that involves the “clearing” of goods through customs barriers for importers and exporters.

Students who graduate from this program would be able to articulate the provisions and tariff to customs laws, rules, and regulations, as well as perform different customs valuation and classification concepts. They would also know how to detect and manage fraud and innovate supply chain management approaches.

The Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship (BSEntrep) is a higher education degree program which aims to equip students with knowledge and competencies to set up, manage, and operate a business. It also positions students to assume managerial positions in business development, corporate planning, and other related positions in the corporate sector and public organizations. 

A BSEntrep graduate will be able to conduct self-assessment  to determine the level of entrepreneurial competencies, analyze the environment to determine business opportunities and develop their  profitability profiles, and prepare a business plan. They would also be able to mobilize human, financial, financial, logical, and technical resources.

BSEntrep is designed to produce professionals who can prepare and comply with the requirements for business operations, operate and manage the enterprise observing good governance.

The Bachelor of Technical-Vocational Teacher Education (BTVTEd) Major in Food and Service Management is a higher education degree program which aims to develop highly-competent and motivated teachers in technical and vocational education in their area of specialization. The Cruise Ship, Hotel and Restaurant Services (CSHRS) is a two-year bundled program which includes National Certificates for Food and Beverage Services, Bread and Pastry Production, Housekeeping, and Bartending. This program is also accompanied with shipboard familiarization and preparation for sea- and land-based employment.


Graduates of this program are trained to be competent in an industry where there is substantial support, guidance, or supervision, where limited judgment or discretion is needed. They are capable of demonstrating manual, practical, and operational knowledge and skills in their field.
